Audio is warped and delayed

Hello. I'm new to this and very unfamiliar with things, so please be patient with me. I am having audio issues.

I'm running an El Gato 4K X and through an ACER laptop. I bought this laptop solely to capture game play of me and my kids and edit them. I use it for nothing else. Video captures fine. Audio from my mic captures fine. But gameplay audio is either distorted/warped, delayed, missing, or a combination of all of that. I'm still learning so I accept I may have settings all screwed up and I'm willing to learn and try anything.

Here is my log: https://obsproject.com/logs/0a42F7qunfG81IiL

Lastly, when I downloaded OBS, I started getting this pop ups when I turn on my computer from the Program Compatibility Assistant telling my a module is blocked from loading and it's always Bonjour. This may also be a factor. But I have Googled these things and either nothing works or it's all gibberish to me since I am not tech savvy. When I tried to uninstall OBS (something Google had recommended - uninstalling and installing again), these pop ups went away. When I installed OBS again, they came back.

Thanks.

In the properties of your capture device source in OBS, check the audio output options and play with them. They're at the bottom of the properties page. Avoid capturing the same audio twice, for example by activating monitoring of the capture device's audio (in the separate advanced audio properties dialog) and both capture the capture device and the monitoring device.

Thank you. I have played with them a lot. I've tried different settings and being careful to only change one thing at a time. I'm still having audio issues. I can get the game dialogue to record. And some game special fx sounds. But I can't get in-game music to work right. Instead, I get this horrible warped and distorted sound, like a bad 80s rave with 8-bit digital electronic sounds.

I can't tell if its settings (and I just don't have the knowledge to figure it out) or if it's something with my laptop and maybe not having the right hardware/software. Or maybe OBS isn't installing correctly.
