Bug Report Black screen After Windows reinstall

I have a Dell Inpirion 17R 5720 laptop with Fully update windows 7 on it.
Newest DirectX installed
Integrated graphic card: Intel HD 4000 with Nvidia GT 630m

OBS 466a worked perfectly on it. Before the re-install that is.
Now OBS 472 cant even record anything at all, just black screen.
Thought the test build's compability mode fixed it, but its less than ideal to use RAM instead of VRAM.
the only thing that gave me anything was my Webcamera.
So what gives? Did the OBS code a new way to capture screens? If yes the older one was better in compassion.
Or it might be that i used Beta nvidia drivers?
I will soon see as i'am installing it right now.

EDIT: NOPE its still bad.

OBS didn't change, your drivers probably changed. Because you're on a laptop, it's probably using the wrong GPU. You may have to force it to use the other instead of whichever it's currently using.

to my knowledge I am forcing it.

I set in the Nvidia Panel that whatever program is runing should run on the Nvidia GPU. I even specified OBS that it should use that no matter what.

If it gets a black screen that means it's not getting the right GPU. You just may have to use test 11, use window capture, and use "compatibility mode" in software capture in the mean time to ensure it captures. Though that will mean you will have to run your game in some sort of windowed mode to capture it.

I don't know what happened, but when i tried to use today the desktop worked without the compability mode.

Seems like it needed a restart? I dont know really...
