Flickering Problems with OBS 31.1.2 (64 bit) and Asus G614P

Hello,
I purchased an Asus G641P laptop (8/20/2025). It includes the following
  • AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX with Radeon Graphics (2.40 GHz)
  • 32GB Ram
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU
  • AMD Radeon (TM) 610M
  • NVIDIA Control Panel Version 8.1.968.0
I reloaded Windows 11 Home, then I reloaded the NVIDIA drivers The PC behaves well aside from issues with OBS.
I have a Backmagic ATEM Mini Pro (ISO) connected to the Asus laptop on a UBS-C port. All the cables, cameras and Mini Pro worked fine on the prior PC, and they still do. I'm having trouble getting the configuration to work with the new Asus laptop.
I've used Video Capture Device as a Source.
OBS Studio starts up fine, but the minute I click on Start Recording or Start Streaming, the image starts flickering.
How do I configure OBS to work with the new hardware? Are there any adjustments that I need to make on the new laptop?
