If you use Elgato's audio source management software, called Wave Link, you'll quickly understand my request.
Wave Link is a very powerful piece of software that allows you to differentiate between audio tracks. So the sound from our game doesn't go through the same channel as the music.
But if you want to use it with OBS it becomes extremely complicated!
PROBLEM: In order to be able to put our music on track 6 of OBS so that it is not heard in our VODs, we have to add the specific channel in the audio parameters.
But if we do that, and then use the wavelink source to manage the rest of our tracks, we hear the music twice!
We are forced to use the ‘add an audio source’ system, which makes our sources more cumbersome and makes it impossible to manage the channel via the wavelink (and therefore via the stream deck). :(
SOLUTION: Add more ‘desktop audio’ in the global audio settings so that all the wavelink channels can be added.
