Question / Help Videos recording for some reason in low resolution

I don't know if this is a problem with OBS or OBS's compatibility with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Whenever I am in the CSGO main menu, everything records just fine. 1080p, good frames, etc etc. However, when I get in game, the resolution for some reason flips down to something like 240p. I'm trying to make a tutorial video and I can't do it if the audience can't see what I'm doing. How might I fix this?

Post a log (required, as the big red text told you!) and provide a demo video if possible.

The log contains all your settings used for streaming/recording and helps us find any problems faster.

Your problem is, that you are recording 1080p with 60 FPS with only 1000 bitrate. This is hardly enough for 480p.
Follow this guide for flawless quality while recording (I also recommend you switch to OBS Studio, it makes this process much easier): https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/

For OBS Studio, just select Simple Output and chose the quality of your choice, it will record automatically in 1080p with 60 FPS and outstanding quality.
